Perry also brought to fruition the vision for a STEM campus in 木星, which is now a thriving life sciences research hub that boasts a combined total of $75 million in federal funding with partners Scripps Florida and the Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience.

Prior to assuming the role of provost, Perry served for seven years as dean of the Charles E. Schmidt College of Science and, before that, interim dean of graduate studies for the university. Perry joined 能力 in 1989 as an associate professor of neuroscience and has held several other leadership positions at 能力, including the roles of senior associate dean for research and graduate studies and acting associate dean and chair of the biomedical science program in the Charles E.
